Landscape Construction Crew Leader
Job Summary
Established and growing Sheboygan Landscape Construction Company is looking for a Lead Worker to direct our crews in completing our community, residential and commercial projects. We have a strong emphasis in landscape construction and we are looking for an individual with a background in hardscapes to lead a crew in providing superior workmanship for our customers.
This position requires extensive hardscape installation experience and the ability to oversee landscape construction projects to ensure quality and timely completion at the worksite. Jobs will include the installation of pavers and stone for walkways, patios, bench walls, steps, outdoor kitchens, ponds and swales as well as plantings.

Responsibilities and Duties
Organize daily work of the Landscape Crew Members.
Assist in jobsite preparation and ordering materials.
Assure that all trucks, equipment and tools are at the jobsite.
Oversee that all safety policies are followed at the job site and off-site locations.
Assign job tasks to a crew of 2-4 employees.
Read landscape plans and drawings and ensure accuracy of workmanship.
Keep complete records or materials and labor hours.
Provide complete information to clients and staff members.
Direct the planting of trees, shrubs, perennials and annuals.
Operate and train in the operation of trucks, skid loaders, mini excavators, compactors, saws and other equipment.
Ensure that tools and equipment are properly maintained.
Provide a positive team approach for employees of varying skill levels.
Bring a positive attitude and leadership skills.
Assist in estimating and sales.
Available for snow removal during the winter months.
Previous foreman or crew leader experience is preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Stand and walk for long periods though out the shift.
Lift consistently 50 pounds and occasionally move heavier objects.
Ability to squat, stoop, or kneel frequently.
