The successful Tax Senior will report to a Partner that is a CPA & is interested mentoring a senior that is looking
for career progression. This role is located at our clients state of the art Corporate office. Our client offers comprehensive benefits as

Tax Senior Staff Accountant
Responsibilities Include:
? Prepares Federal, State, and Local tax returns for individuals, businesses, non-profits, and fiduciaries
? Completes Business returns which include returns for S and C corporations and partnerships mainly in the industries of manufacturing,
healthcare, real estate, professional services, technology, and hospitality services
? Handles tax aspects of ownership changes in partnerships and S corporations
? Prepares consolidated corporate tax returns
? Reviews compliance work prepared by tax staff for purposes of filing federal and state extensions as well as returns
? Conducts federal and state tax law research on various issues and created pertinent memorandum to communicate results
? Represents Clients interests in response to IRS and state tax notices
? Creates income tax projections for tax planning purposes
? Updates Client fixed asset records, including depreciation, additions, disposals, and tracked book/tax differences
? Performs bookkeeping functions, such as data entry, bank reconciliations, and adjusting journal entries
? Creates working trial balance worksheets for tax preparation purposes
? Corresponds and maintains strong Client Service relationships with firm Clients on daily basis.
? Familiarity with FAS 109 workpapers while preparing returns for the respective corporations
? Researches to determine application of tax laws on various transactions in regard to General Ledger Account Analysis
? Assists Clients with transaction tax issues, including research of industry specific laws and preparation of periodic sales
tax returns
Location : Atlanta
Qualifications:
Prefers 2-5 years of progressive tax experience
Education: Strong academics from competitive school
CPA is strongly desired
