Performs advanced customer service functions that may include: releasing confidential medical information per regulatory and HIPAA requirements, chart tracking in the hybrid environment, customer service to patients and physicians, utilizes multiple source computer systems, responsible for prepping, scanning, indexing and analyzing ED, inpatient, outpatient diagnostic and ambulatory records.

Minimum Qualifications
Education: High School education required; Additional courses in medical terminology and. working knowledge of basic computer functions. Associate degree preferred
Experience: One to two years previous medical record or medical office experience preferred. PC, Windows, and keyboard proficiency required. Previous office experience and customer service skills required.
Licensure/Certification: None requierd.
Other: Good communicator, well organized, detail oriented, and good navigational skills between multiple computer systems. Must have excellent oral communication skills and be able to greet customers in a professional manner. Ability to work well with others in a team environment Ability to multitask in a fast paced office environment. Ability to accept/give constructive feedback.
