Job Description
Journeyman Toolmaker
Overview:
Successful candidate will apply their technical knowledge to fabricate or machine components, as well as prototype molds and tooling to meet the needs of new product development and various other engineering projects. By applying this knowledge, you will identify process and equipment problems, recommend and implement solutions, collect and document data, and verify your results.
Responsibilities:
- Candidate will be required to make progressive tools from blue prints.
- Must be able to maintain progressive die, including forming, draw, coining, & compound dies.
- Maintain die records along with timing information.
Requirements:
- Experience with die sensors, CAD, solid works, wire EDM & CNC machining is a plus.
- Must have 5+ years of experience.
- Self-motivated individual who can work independently and with a team.
- Previous Toolmaker experience.
- Basic Computer and CNC equipment knowledge.
- Ability to operate a forklift with training.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Minimum education of a high school diploma or equivalent.
