POSITION SUMMARY\: To be fully engaged in providing Quality/No Harm, Customer Experience, and Stewardship by providing IDN-level clinical intelligence through the design, development and analysis of high reliable and valid data in a usable format for the end user. This role maintains the quality analytic systems data integrity to ensure accurate data for clinical process improvement and data submission for regulatory reporting. PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES\: Proactively seeks opportunities to identify and reduce risk to the safety of patients.Provides accurate and timely clinical data collection reports to appropriate committees or groups and identifies opportunities for improvementsCollect data or oversee processesAggregate and analyze data Provide Benchmarks Verify Statistical measures Oversee the development of action plans Responsible for expertise in quality data abstraction and analysis based on regulatory requirements and internal request by departments and medical staff. Oversight for the department indicator monitoring and performance measurement for the corporate and facilities goals.Midas+ Care Management database administration for multi-hospital organizationManages user access and user account maintenance for Care Management, Datavision Web Application and Statit; Audits user activity in the system.Manage and update module dictionaries and interface dictionaries (Collaborate with IT Administrator)Maintains system integrityMonitors daily processors to ensure all interfaces are connected and processors are runningFacilitates the build of Reportrack Reports, SmarTrack Indicators and ProfilesPerform as Statit PPR/piMD Indicator Administrator; build Indicators, Dashboards and ScorecardsCollaborates in developing studies aimed at evaluating organizational programsCollaborates in designing outcome measuresAssists in designing mechanisms for data collection and entryDevelops reports based on findings
Qualification:
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED\: Bachelors degree in healthcare or business related field or minimal 5 years working in healthcare quality improvement and patient safety, requiredRN with current license to practice nursing in the State of Florida preferredKnowledge of multiple clinical information systems; Midas+ Care Management experience desiredExcellent verbal and written communication skills with all levels of associates.Desire to continually master new technology, applications, and methodologiesStrong interpersonal, communication, organizational skills Ability to maintain positive working relationships with all levels within the organization Analytical abilities required to recognize and resolve problems requiring technical or clinical interventions Ability to work independently with minimal supervisionAbility to work flexible hours to meet deadlines or attend early or late meetingsPHYSICAL DEMANDS\: Ability to sit for extended periods of time at a computer and perform typing skills using hand dexterity up to two hours at a time, 6 – 8 hours per dayAbility to work flexible and/or long hours to see issues through to resolutionAbility to effectively communicate in person, via telephone, and using written methodsMust be able to bend and reach at all times
