Project Manager

Koinonia is a leading non-profit organization providing residential services, day programs and employment services to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities throughout Northeast Ohio. We are currently seeking a dynamic, Project Manager to join our administrative services division team located at our Independence office. Excellent growth and career development opportunity for a junior Project Manager who is seeking increased responsibility for managing larger scale projects of greater complexity, scope and impact on an organization’s future.

POSITION OVERVIEW

• Manage projects from inception through project close-out throughout all divisions of Koinonia.
• Lead teams of associates to ensure projects are delivered on schedule and within provided constraints.
• Provide a proactive interface between internal and external project stakeholders, ensuring effective definition and delivery of initiatives.
• Possess strong business analytical skills in addition to technology and project management skills.
• Focus on meeting agency strategies, regulatory compliance, and mission adherence while leading projects.
• Head a team consisting of a project specialist and administrative assistants.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a project manager or with heavy involvement in project work in an office setting.
• Bachelor’s Degree in business or a related field. Project management certification preferred.
• Experience with Lean Six Sigma Value Stream Mapping – preferred.
• Must be proficient in all Microsoft products.
• Must have excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
• Experience in healthcare or developmental disabilities field a plus.
