Registered Nurse- Operating Room ($10K Sing-on Bonus Potential!) – LifeBridge Health- Northwest Hospital – Baltimore, MD

Northwest Hospital’s main operating room (Main OR) provides innovative surgical services on both inpatient and outpatients. The main surgical suite consists of a new exquisite pre- and post-operative area, five operating rooms, one Cysto suite and a new endoscopy suite. The main operating room cares for approximately 480 surgical patients a month. Patients of surgical services may require care following general or orthopedic, neurologic, urologic, gynecologic, thoracic, vascular, podiatric, cosmetic procedures. Surgical service employees provide excellent care to their patients and follow Association of Peri-Operative Registered Nurses (AORN) and American Society of Peri-Anesthesia Nursing Practice (ASPAN) standards of care. Surgical staff must utilize strong organizational and leadership skills to assess patient status, implement clinical nursing interventions to modify symptoms.

Description: Perioperative Registered Nurse individualizes plans of care to coordinate and deliver safe and age-appropriate care to patients undergoing operative and other invasive procedures. Also functions as an advisor, resource, preceptor, and leader for other members of the patient care team.
