Adecco Medical & Science is looking to hire a Pharmacy Technician for a local client in San Diego, CA! You will be calling on prescription refill orders to ensure timely and accurate entry into pharmacy operations system. You must have two years experience and currently have your state pharmacy technician license.
Hours: Mon-Fri 8AM-5PM
Pay Rate: $14-$16/hr, depending on experience
PHARMACY TECHNICIAN ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS (include the following):
Triage incoming fax prescriptions to ensure timely dispensing
Ensure proper notes in computer and cycle fill coding
Accurately enter prescriptions into operating system to eliminate errors at dispensing
Ensure all prescriptions assigned for processing are completed in regular shift
Receive, evaluate, process and follow-up as needed with doctors’ offices on all refills assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
2+ years of related experience (advanced degree may substitute for experience)
High School Diploma or GED
State Pharmacy Technician license
