El Camino Veterinary Hospital is seeking a seasoned Veterinary Assistant to join our amazing team. Candidate must have several years of clinical experience. We are an AAHA accredited 3 doctor hospital. We just completed a beautiful remodel, consisting of 6 exam suites, spacious surgical suite, separate dedicated dental suite, as well as an open and airy treatment room with an ICU ward. We are fully equipped with in-house Idexx hematology/cbc/ua machines. We utilize Cornerstone PMS, digital radiography, as well as digital dental radiography. We pride ourselves on high quality medical care for our patients and exceptional customer service for our clients.
Duties include, but not limited to:
-Exam room history collection with TPR
-Wellness/preventive care avocation
-Venipuncture
-Catheter placement
-IM/SQ/IV injection administration
-Cystocentesis
-Anesthesia Monitoring
-Surgical preparation/recovery
-Dentistry (dental prophy)
-Medication handling
-In house laboratory equipment use
-Radiology
-Customer service
-Client education
-Treatment plan presentation
-Hospital maintenance

Hours of operation:
Monday-Friday 8am-6pm
