Warehouse Sanitation

JOB SUMMARY/GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

• Average pay:  $15.00 per hour.
• Benefits such as medical, dental, vision, life insurance begin after your 60th day. 
• 401(k) begins after your 90th day, with annual company match.
• Schedule: 3PM – 11:30PM 
• General description:  A Warehouse Sanitation teammate performs various cleaning and general building maintenance duties in both the inside and the outside areas of the distribution center.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Know and implement Silliker standards of cleanliness.
• Operate manual and electric cleaning tools, appliances, and equipment safely and effectively.
• Pick up trash and empty trash cans.
• Clean and sanitize fixtures in restrooms, kitchens, and break rooms.
• Wipe down dust from surfaces, clean glass and windows, and in office areas, break rooms, kitchens, and restrooms.
• Sweep, mop, and/or vacuum floors.
• Replenish and replace supplies such as soap, paper towels, and air fresheners.
• Pick up trash and empty trash receptacles.
• Keep walkways clear of empty pallets, trash, debris.
• Mow grass and clear snow from walkways seasonally.
• Additional duties or special projects may be assigned at the supervisor’s discretion. 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Undergo pre-employment screenings, including but not limited to a background check and a drug test.
