The Dry Utilities Engineer is responsible for design associated with the site utility electric, natural gas, and telecommunication services. Active coordination between the design team, clients, and utility providers. The position will work hand in hand with project managers, and civil engineers. This is a full-time, exempt position. Experience coordinating directly with Pepco, Dominion, BG&E, Washington Gas, Verizon and Comcast in the DC, Maryland and Northern Virginia area is strongly preferred. AutoCAD drafting and/or design experience is strongly preferred. The ideal candidate will have superior communication and organizational skills. We are looking for professionals that are excellent time management skills and are team players.
Qualifications:
- Ability to prepare plans, specifications and cost estimates
- Ability to assist on preparation of site utility studies and reports
- Technical proficiency in using AutoCAD and/or MicroStation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering preferred
