Hospitalist

A hospital in North Carolina is in search of a hospitalist physician who can provide locum tenens coverage for approximately four months, beginning in October with a chance of extension. At this facility, the provider will be responsible for rounding on the inpatient unit, admissions, and discharges, as well as responding to codes. The client prefers a provider who can assist with procedures and requires someone who can work both day and night shifts. The provider will work 12-hour shifts that run from either 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. or 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. the following day and they will not be on call. This facility uses Meditech EHR and will provide training.
