Nurse Practitioner – Urgent Care

A clinic in North Carolina is seeking an urgent care nurse practitioner who can provide locum tenens care for six weeks, beginning mid-July with a possible extension. The provider will see between 28 and 35 patients of all ages per day, primarily children. The provider will see cases involving upper respiratory issues, allergies, skin conditions, coughing, and small lacerations, and will be required to stabilize more serious patients until emergency medical services arrive. The provider will work from 9:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. but may negotiate leaving at an earlier time. This facility currently uses eClinicalWorks EMR but is in the process of transitioning to Epic EMR and will provide training on the new system.
