Position Overview:
Professional Services team manager plays a critical role in delivering value to our customers by working directly with the Visionary (CEO), multiple technical resources internal and external on designing and delivering new technical solutions to existing and new clients. Successful candidate will be extremely organized, able to research and create technical solutions, manage and set priorities for project engineers, establish technical standards and documentation while performing efficiently in a fast paced work environment. This role requires good planning skills, being resourceful and being able to pick up new tasks quickly with little prior information, research as necessary and deliver to a high quality and expectations.
The main goal of a professional services manager is to serve as the frontline manager on projects, and they must be able to discuss technical and nontechnical aspects of projects with managers, internal & external constituents, and others. Some day-to-day responsibilities of a professional service manager include managing multiple aspects of a project at the same time, developing strong relationships with clients, and serving as an intermediary between the company’s sales and technical teams. A professional service manager works closely with the research and development team of the company, as they are responsible for ensuring projects are delivered in a timely fashion in accordance with project requirements.
This position is flexible to various working schedules but the assigned work must be completed by set deadlines.

Responsibilities Include:
- Oversee implementation and development of projects and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Professional Services manager is the final point of accountability for ensuring quality, timely and on budget delivery of projects
- Building and maintaining relationships at all levels internally and at the client’s organization
- Manage a team of engineers, consultants and sub-contractors to ensure efficiency and completion of project goals
- Live, breath and teach agile framework
- Maintain awareness of the clients’ needs and project parameters so that implementation activities do not interfere with business operations
- Identify potential risks to the clients’ on-going operations. Develop plans and measures to minimize and mitigate the potential risks
- Prepare and present regular project status reports internally and directly to clients
- People development: To the extent possible retain top performers to drive future growth. Foster Inclusion and Diversity in the organization. Contribute to the development of our practice and our people. Leading team members to develop critical relationships by demonstrating and promoting effective relationship building throughout the company, with internal staff, subcontractors, and vendors. Directly engage in staff development along with addressing and resolving all staff issues as they arise.
- Business development: Identify and execute on new business development opportunities as required. Assist in contract development / proposal efforts, specifically during the SOW phase
- Forecast and prepare reports on financial aspects of current and future projects.
- Work with support team manager to onboard new clients for MSP services ( initial build out & upgrades projects )
- Be accountable for proper documentation of new environments, official transition & handoff to support team

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $70,000.00 to $90,000.00 /year
