Details: The Electrophysiology Lab Registered Nurse assists the Cardiologist with procedures performed in the Electrophysiology Lab, such as invasive/non-invasive cardiac procedures and the administration of conscious sedation. This also includes Electrophysiology studies as well as interventions and pacemaker/ICD implantations. The patient population contains adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients. Ionizing Radiation is utilized to perform these studies as well as other imaging modalities. The Registered nurse is responsible for direct patient care during the procedure. Details: One-year critical care or electrophysiology lab or cardiac catheterization laboratory experience preferred, but not required. Must have current valid RN license issued by the Board of Nurse Examiners for the State of Texas. BLS and ACLS required.
