Details: 4WC IMC serves patients that are ill, injured or recuperating from diagnostic and/or surgical interventions. Patients may often exhibit a higher acuity than those on general nursing floors but do not qualify as ICU level of acuity. The Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional caregiver who uses the nursing process to provide and direct patient care for a group of patients for a designated time frame. Consistently demonstrates competence, compliance and accurate documentation during care delivery in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act, Standards of Practice, and Hospital & Departmental Policies and Procedures. Routinely cares for patients and families needs and/or performs department specific activities with excellent organizational skill, efficiency and appropriate fiscal accountability. Continuously synthesizes and evaluates assessment data to gain a comprehensive clinical picture and effectively uses supervisory skills and nursing process to independently and collaboratively anticipate, intervene and deliver excellent patient care. Details: Must maintain current Texas RN License
